Journaling Café: Traveling – First Impressions

Schreibstube: Reise – Erste Eindrücke   Last week I told you that we’d be doing journaling inspiration on traveling for a little while longer. I actually still have quite a number of traveling related prompts, so if I don’t get to do them all in the near future, there’ll be more coming later on. For now, however, lets move on to this week’s prompts: Letzte Woche habe ich euch gesagt, dass wir für eine Weile Reisen in unserer Schreibstube behandeln werden.

Project Life 2015 – Week 34

Projekt Leben 2015 – Woche 34   This was a pretty awesome week and it was a lot of fun putting everything together in this PL spread. Of course, there’s way too little room for all the many gorgeous photos we got to take, but it’s a great overview anyway. I used a digital scrapbooking kit – “I Am Beautiful” by Digilicious Designs & Meghan Mullens. And I used one of my own 12×12 photo pockets, which hopefully some day I’ll get to share with you as a freebie.

Bye to Lake Constance

Abschied vom Bodensee   It was a somewhat sad day today. Because it was time to say good-bye to Lake Constance. Well, not really, yet. Because we’ll hit the road tomorrow. But it was, in fact, our last day at the lake, which we still spent with the family and then packing everything together so we could leave first thing in the morning. Bye Lake Constance! Click on images to enlarge / Zum Vergrößern auf die Bilder klicken

Family Dinner at the Lake

Familienessen am See   We had special visitors to join us for our vacation today – dear relatives who’ve been staying around after the wedding last weekend. And so, we took the whole family to a nice little restaurant with lake view for dinner. And then we enjoyed the evening, as the sun set across the lake from us.

Wandern bei Brülisau (Schweiz)   It was my third trip to Switzerland this summer and the second Alpine Hike. It had been all dear sister’s wish to embark on an Alpine hiking adventure. And since we were near enough the Swiss border, and since we love hiking and being out in nature, we were only too happy to oblige. After as somewhat troublesome journey (we lost one hour on the way because we’d decided not to take the ferry to the other side of Lake Constance but drive around the lake instead and got stuck in real bad traffic; and to top it all, we had to pay toll in Austria because we missed the right highway exit, even though using the highway had been totally unnecessary and avoidable), we finally got to Brülisau in the beautiful Swiss countryside of Appenzell. We found a good place to park our car and then were ready to set out on our hike. Due to the fact that we had to choose easier hiking trails, we stayed pretty much …

treat bag, lori whitlock, silhouette cameo

Hybrid Hub: Treat Bag

Bastelecke: Papiertasche   I’ve been creative again (although only a little, as this was done in almost no time). I made a treat bag. I used a cutting file by Lori Whitlock from the Silhouette Online Store, resized it and with that, the treat bag was almost finished anyway. I simply added a bast cord as ribbon, a tag with a thanks-sentiment and a strip of washi tape to add a final touch.

So, why don’t you hop on over to check it out HERE?
